Governance Structure and Operational Function

The Centre has a tripartite governance agreement based on the partnership between UBC Faculty od Medicine, UNBC, and Northern Health (NH). A Memorandum of Agreement defines the relationship and responsibilities of the 3 partners that oversee and operate the NCCR.

The Governance Committee ensures the integrity of the tripartite partnership. This committee is comprised of:

• Dr. Robert McMaster, Vice-Dean Research, Faculty of Medicine, UBC
• Dr. Paula Wood-Adams, Vice President Research and Innovation, UNBC
• Nicole Cross, Vice President Indigenous Health and Chief Planning & Quality Officer

The Centre Director, Dr. Anurag Singh, reports directly to the Governance Committee. The NCCR Staff report to the Centre Director.
