A research centre that fosters collaborative clinical and medical life sciences research leading to innovation in technologies, processes and clinical practice in the northern, remote, rural and Indigenous geographical, social and cultural contexts, and increases accessibility to, and participation in research opportunities for the people of northern British Columbia.

Our mission is to enhance the capacity and cohesion of the clinical and life sciences research programs in the north, creating strategic opportunities to share resources among UBC faculty, NH and UNBC, in collaboration with local partners.
